           DATE; PROVIDING THAT THE BALANCE OF ORDINANCE NO. 2007-07
           REMAINS UNCHANGED; PROVIDING THAT THE PROVISIONS OF THIS
           ORDINANCE ARE CUMULATIVE AND IN ADDITION TO ANY AND ALL
           TAXING PROVISIONS OF OTHER CITY ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR
           SEVERABILITY OF PROVISIONS; AND CONTAINING OTHER PROVISIONS
           RELATED THERETO.

b.    CONSIDER AND TAKE ACTION WITH RESPECT TO A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CALLING AND HOLDING OF AN ELECTION IN THE CITY OF TISHOMINGO, STATE OF OKLAHOMA, FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUBMITTING TO THE REGISTERED QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF SAID CITY THE QUESTION OF EXTENDING THE TERMINATION DATE OF AN EXISTING ONE-QUARTER OF ONE PERCENT (0.25%) EXCISE TAX (SALES TAX) CURRENTLY LEVIED PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NO. 2007-07 OF THE CITY FROM DECEMBER 31, 2012 UNTIL DECEMBER 31, 2017, AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING MODIFICATION OF THE PURPOSE OF SAID EXCISE TAX (SALES TAX) IN ORDER THAT SAID TAX BE USED FOR CAPITAL EXPENDITURES IN CONNECTION WITH STREET IMPROVEMENTS, POLICE PROTECTION, AND FIRE PROTECTION, ALL AS MORE SPECIFICALLY SET OUT BY ORDINANCE OF SAID CITY; AUTHORIZING A LEGAL SERVICES AGREEMENT; AND CONTAINING OTHER PROVISIONS RELATING THERETO.
