Critical Notices and Emergency Warnings

Residents of the City of Tishomingo can receive phone, text, or email notice of severe weather, of repairs to critical city services such as water lines, and of other community information.

With this service, city leaders can send personalized voice messages to all residents and businesses within minutes with specific information about time-sensitive or common-interest issues such as weather events, city services emergencies and local community matters.

This notification service has been done in the past through Blackboard Connect, but was changed in July 2015 from Blackboard Connect to Hyper-Reach. If you were registered to receive notifications with Blackboard Connect, you will now need to register again with Hyper-Reach to continue to receive notifications.

The City of Tishomingo encourages all residents to register for the Hyper-Reach notification service. Early warnings in severe weather can save lives. There is no cost for registration and for the service if you are a resident of the city of Tishomingo.

To register:
Option 1: If you have internet access, click on the following link to complete the online form at
the Hyper-Reach web site.  The Johnston County Public Library has internet-connected computers available for free public use if you do not have a connection to the internet.

Option 2: If you don't have internet access, contact Johnston County Emergency Management Director Jason Bryant at (580) 371-0174.

If you need assistance with registration, contact City Hall:
